I am remiss..

Here we are, just past midmonth and I have yet to share a quote from my outhouses calendar. Well, It's been a busy time I guess.

Anyhows:

But -
An amusing little outhouse in the picture. All wood, kind of dilapidated, some of it held together with rope, and no door. Yet somehow the full roll of toilet paper hanging on the wall makes it seem "oh so civilized".

I am lucky

So much of my education comes from family life

We talked and explored, and learned so much. Our parents were into great things.
Woody Guthrie is great, a genius...no doubt


But Pete Seeger is Willie Mays...
and even as a little girl, even with all the the great mental emotional things he expressed...I noticed Pete's physicality

Every time he sings...he points his head up....it is a great stance
looks up, mouth up, into the mike, into the sky... he is into it.

It is strong, individualistic
It has never ceased to amaze me.
